Teen Outreach-Love's Outreach

We give warmth to the many teens and young adults that have been living on the city streets of our country.  It is disheartening to think of the homelessness of people of any walk of life, but to have children abandoned, alone, and cold gives Love's Many Cloths the compelling desire to reach out with our talents to give LOVE, HOPE, and WARMTH!

Our group makes cloths, hats, scarves, mittens, and afghans by hand.   Knitting, crocheting, looming, and sewing are the many talents that the Love's members use to provide the gifts to the many in need.

There are organizations already established and serving these many teens throughout the big cities of the United States.  As our thankful contacts continue to be found, our gifts will be distributed to the teens and young adults during the winter season.

Love's Many Cloths provided scarves for many teens in December 2008.  A Christmas to remember for many who may not have received a gift otherwise.  The warmth of the scarf was felt not only on the outside, but also within each recipient as a sign of hope and love.

Desiree' and her husband, Steve, lovingly take in many teens that are reaching out.  These teens and young adults are looking for LOVE, HOPE, and COMPANIONSHIP.  Desiree' and Steve give guidance that enriches the lives of these teens/young adults out of the goodness of their own hearts.  They receive a very small wage for the time they share and spend making sure that these young lives are taken care of to the best of their abilities.  This couple has given up so much for so many!

Our Love's members have come together to make sure that we are also doing what we can to help in many ways.

 Oasis Center

Oasis Center

A Teen Outreach Center in Nashville, Tennessee

A Love's member recently connected with a contact at the Oasis Center in Nashville.  This large city also has many teens and young adults that are living on the streets.  Some of them find their way to the center, while others stay in the streets and rarely leave their spaces.  The center takes to the streets nightly to make sure these teens/young adults are safe and warm to the center's ablilities.

Love's Many Cloths is IMMEDIATELY collecting winter wear to send to our Love's member for a

October 15th 2009 delivery.

Hats, scarves, mittens are being collected NOW.  Hand made or store new bought can be sent to:

Kate Niskanen

5400 Langley Ave.

St. Louis, MO  63123

We hope to be able to collect as much as we can during this winter season.  We will then continue to collect and deliver in the fall of 2009.
